Super Eagles Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi Fallout with BBC Reporter Sulaiman Folarin on Twitter

Trending - chaos between BBC Sports commentator and journalist Sulaiman Folarin and Super Eagles Defensive Midfielder on Twitter over an unverified issue that took place at the camp of the Super Eagles.

Sulaiman reported on his official twitter page that Wilfried Ndidi had a fallout with Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro for wanting to play him as a Center Back against Algeria, which was not suitable for the midfielder who then faked an injury and returned to Leicester City.

Ndidi was not happy with this unverified report as he replied defensively, calling out BBC reporter Sulaiman for giving out fake news without first hand information on what transpired in the Super Eagles camp. The Leicester City midfielder also said Sulaiman reported this fake news because he once refused to honor his interview request.

However, Nigerians are reacting to this incident and majority are turning against the reporter while others are saying Ndidi should honor his National Team and play whatever position the coach asked him to play, something he has done for Leicester City this season.
