AFCON 2023: Ghana Media Team Blocks the Black stars from leaving the stadium.
A group of Ghanaian media team have taken their anger to the streets as they block the exit entrance of the stadium, not allowing the Black Stars to return to their hotel.
Following a disappointing 2-2 draw with Mozambique in the AFCON 2023 Group B game, the Black stars are not sure of making it into the Round of 16. It was almost a fairy tale run for the Ghana team when they were 1-goal up at half-time but individual errors from captain Andre Ayew and goalkeeper Ofori was enough to see Mozambique draw level at he death of final whistle.
CAF security has called for reinforcement. The media just want to meet the team.

We are not leaving until they come.
We won’t tolerate this level of embarrassment and wastage again.
If powers won’t do, we will let them know how it feels to play for this team.

For this sole reason, the Ghanaian media team have lined up at the exit way of the stadium, blocking the team bus from transporting the players to their hotels. It's chaos in Ivory Coast and Ghanaians have called for a total overhaul of the team.
Ghana has now been eliminated from the group stage in two consecutive AFCON tournament, a terrible record for the fur time winners.
