The group and qualifying rounds of the Uefa Champions League came to an end for the first set of teams that will progress to the next round of the competition.
Arsenal finished as leaders of the group A ahead of Paris Saint Germain who on the final group match day drew at home to Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad.
Paris Saint Germain where at some point loosing the game at home but goals from Edinson Cavani and a late strike from Angel Di Maria saw the home side savour a point and finished second after Arsenal.
This is the first time in as many years Arsenal managed to finish top of their group in the UCL. The joy could not be hidden as the Arsenal official facebook page took to social media to troll PSG and thank Ludogorets for doing them a favour.
Its also the first time since 2004/2005 Arsenal finished the group stage unbeaten. Quite a record.
Some players also expressed their joy on twitter;
The competition resumes mid-February. Hope this campaign tell well for Wenger and his Arsenal team, we wait to see.
