The 40th edition of Miss Nigeria 2016 beauty pageant held at Eko Hotel Lagos on Monday, December 19 and Miss Chioma representing Anambra state emerged winner.

While Miss Ebonyi emerged first runner-up, Miss Kwara was crowned the second runner-up.
The judges included Rita Dominic, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Kunle Afolayan, Debola Williams, Mai Atafo and Chioma Ude, Betty Irabor, Yemi Keri, Ezinne Akudo, Binta Sukai, Lanre da Silva, Muktar Daniyan, Biola Afolabi, Adejumoke Adenowo, Funke Egbemode, Adaobi Nwakuche, Dupe Olusola.
