The Club can announce that the London Borough of Haringey Planning Sub-Committee has resolved to grant our application for the development of the ‘Paxton Building’, which will support the operations of the new stadium.
The proposed building would comprise new ticket sales offices and ticket windows, covered queuing areas, retail space, administrative offices, a security centre and other ancillary uses. The development will also see the creation of two high quality associated public spaces, enhancing the setting and access to existing heritage assets.

It would be sited to the north west of the new stadium, at the base of the access ramp to Lilywhite House.
The application is still subject to a further legal process, detailed design works and agreement with the leaseholder.
The ‘Paxton Building’ application represents the first phase of the Club’s commitment to invest in and restore the Northern Terrace, which is an historic terrace of Statutorily Listed and non-designated heritage assets between 790 and 814 High Road. The Northern Terrace, which runs from Dial House (790) to the corner of Northumberland Park, represents the finest series of Georgian properties within the Tottenham Conservation Area dating from as early as 18th Century. These properties are of distinct architectural merit and make a positive contribution to the character and appearance of the High Road.
The Club’s wider vision for the Northern Terrace is to create attractive and useable space, enhance the heritage significance of the area and secure the future of these important buildings. This will be achieved through improvements and restoration of the existing buildings, the creation of new buildings at the rear (such as the ‘Paxton Building’), and comprehensive public realm enhancements to create an attractive thoroughfare and public space. The creation of new buildings to the rear will assist the ongoing viability of the northern terrace properties and bring life and vitality back to this part of the conservation area.
The vision for this area has already begun to be realised, with the Grade II* Listed 796 High Road, more commonly known as ‘Percy House’ already undergoing restoration. Completion is anticipated before the end of 2017 and it will become the new home of the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and a Community and Employment hub.
The Northern Terrace also includes 810-812 High Road. The Club's proposals will ensure their sensitive restoration to bring them back into beneficial use, with plans due to be submitted to Haringey Council in the coming months.
