Throughout the interview Kante comes across as an incredible humble guy, who simply loves to play football and steers away from the limelight.
He still drives a Mini at Chelsea – the same car he used to drive at Leicester – admitting he has no passion for cars.

Leaving Leicester for Chelsea
Perhaps the most interesting part of the conversation centred on why Kante left Leicester to join Chelsea in the summer.
Could he have stayed longer with the Premier League champs?
The way Kante explained things, he seemed to appreciate how last year with the Foxes was a remarkable achievement, but for his long term career he knew he had to move to keep winning medals:
The year I spent there, it’s going to stay in my mind. I always remember this day of May 2, 2016, we’re all together at Jamie’s house and see Chelsea play against Tottenham and it goes from 2-0 to 2-2 and we were champions.
At Leicester we wanted to win and not lose and to fight for every minute. At Chelsea it’s the same.
But the difference is Chelsea is a champion club, who have won everything and there are champion players. At Leicester for nearly everyone it was the first time.
Kante is now in line to win the EPL with two separate teams in two successive seasons.
In a fine stat, Kante has picked up more points than anyone over the past two seasons (53 games, 120 points).
