The English Premier League has witnessed in a long time since its inception, two sumptuous goals over the space of 6days. This is a thing to worry for the governing body and organization incharge of the selection for "Goal of the Season" contender.
Fans around the world has been given a tough task to choose between the goals from Arsenal's striker Olivier Giroud and Manchester United Winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan. It has also become a talking point among soccer pundits and fans all over the world.

Mkhitaryan scored his goal against Sunderland in the 86th minute albeit an assist from Zlatan Ibrahimovic to make the scoreline 3-0. He seem to be in an offside position but the referee waved in favour of the goal.
While Olivier Giroud's goal came in the 17th minute after a cross from Alexis Sanchez. The goal that gave them the lead against Crystal Palace after a marauding and boring first 15 minutes.
LOGIC BEHIND BOTH GOALS:
Mkhitaryan was standing infront of the defender before the cross from Zlatan came to him.
Giroud was on a run into position before Alexis's cross met him, he paused and hit it with his back heel.
However, the both teams are in a relegation battle with Sunderland in the 18th and Crystal Palace in the 17th position respectively.
