The world's biggest thumb drive is almost on completion process and will soon be launched into the tech market. It's memory capacity will read two terabytes of data. That's almost the size of eight biggest iPhones on less than three inches long.
The new USB flash drive, the DataTraveler Ultimate GT, was announced by Kingston Technology during this week's CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The small portable device can hold a ton of information -- more than 160 HD movies, according to the company.
It's due to launch in February. Kingston's previous flash drive, the one terabyte DataTraveler HyperX Predator, is currently listed on Amazon at $2,730 plus shipping.
Kingston company however has not decided yet on the price of the new device that is yet to be launched into the market. If the price of the earlier drive is anything to go by, the tech enthusiasts and professionals Kingston is targeting are going to have to really want that extra space.
