Barcelona Star Neymar Jr. has lost a final appeal in court and will likely stand trial on corruption in a case related to his transfer to FC Barcelona.
The three parties involved in the case; Barcelona, Santos and Neymar's parents also lost the appeal in court and will also stand respective trials after the complaint by a Brazilian investment group who received smaller portion of the transfer fee was exposed.

The charges amount to two-years imprisonment and a fine of $10 million for Neymar and his father. However, they will not face any jail term because according to the law, they are first time offenders.
Therefore, FC Barcelona and Santos FC of Brazil are also charged $9m and $7m respectively.
