According to FIFA, Bayer Leverkusen midfielder and Turkey International Hakan Calhanoglu will not play for both the Turkey side and his club for Four months after CAS upheld his ban. This means that Calhanoglu will not play for Bayer Leverkusen until the end of the present Bundesliga season neither will he play for Turkey National Team in any free FIFA window. This is as a result of violation of the FIFA rule on signing of under-aged players for competitive high profile leagues.
He [Calhanoglu] broke the news on his official Facebook page this evening. The information reads:
"Hello everyone - as you've seen, CAS upheld FIFA's decision to give me a four-month suspension. Unfortunately, that means I will not be able to play for Bayer 04 Leverkusen or Turkey's National Team in the second half of the season.
The reason behind the ban is that I signed a contract with Trabzonspor in 2011 when I was 17, but then later on renewed my contract with Karlsruher, where I was playing at the time and who had the option to extend my deal. I was certain at the time that my contract with Trabzonspor would only be valid if both of the clubs reached an agreement on the transfer. Unfortunately, FIFA and CAS saw this differently and have banned me, even though it became clear that Trabzonspor also broke a number of FIFA rules by offering me a contract in such circumstances.
Therefore, I find it very hard to understand why I am not able to play for such a long time over something that happened six years ago, when I was still a minor.
But I will accept this decision and keep looking forward. I am certain that I will come back stronger than ever and will give my all for my club, my national team and my fans again."

The No. 10 will be a huge miss to both club and country.
