OSCARS 2017 WINNERS

The remarkable Academy Awards which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA has come to an end and it lived up to the hype as numerous stars were in attendance. Host, Jimmy Kimmel made the event more livelier with his jokes and antecedents; of all, his tweet to the President of the United States hit the talking point.

Social media was on fire as lots of surprises and emotions flared when Moonlight won the award for 'Best Picture'. Nominated most alongside La La Land, the movie justified its inclusion. However, there was controversy surrounding the announcement of Moonlight as Best Picture after La La Land was originally pronounced by the awardees as winner.  Emma Stone and Casey Affleck won the most prestigious award on the night for their role in Movies; La La Land and Manchester by the Sea.
