It all went down at the King Power Stadium and Leicester City were coming from a 2-1 deficit at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Sevilla had missed a chance through Samir Nasri before Jamie Vardy poked home the opening goal to draw the game 2-2 on aggregate.

It got worse for Sevilla when Albrighton hammered top of the net Riyad Mahrez cross from the 18-yard area. Tempers flared when Jamie Vardy and Samir Nasri who was already on a yellow got in a messy fight and the referee was in hand to issue both players another card which saw Nasri left the field of play.

It seem as if things were turning back for Sevilla when Kasper Schmeichel brought down a Sevilla player in the 18-yard area and the referee pointed to the spot only for Steven Nzonzi's penalty to be saved.

Of the two penalties Schmeichel faced against Sevilla in the UCL, he has saved both.

However, both teams missed couple of chances but Sevilla piled more pressure on Leicester City who managed to keep their own until the final whistle.

Shakespeare: "The players and the club can be immensely proud. We rode our luck at times, but the character we showed was incredible."

Morgan: "Incredible. I can't quite believe it. We are newcomers in the UCL, we didn't expect to get this far and here we are."

Schmeichel: "It’s a great feeling to help the team progress. It’s about confidence. We’ve played more like we did last season."

Sampaoli: "I am proud of the team, a man down we won a penalty and searched for a goal until the end."
Records: Since the inception of the club, this is the first time they have gotten to the quarter finals stage of the UEFA Champions League and captain Wes Morgan is the first Jamaican to score in a UCL game.

IS this another fairy tale?
