NNL: CLUBS MANDATED TO SUBMIT AFFILIATION LETTERS

Clubs To Face Summary Jurisdiction For not Presenting Affiliation Letters

Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the ''Most Important '' League, Lawrence Katken said such Clubs have seven days from Thursday the 23rd of March, 2017 to fulfill the demands on affiliation or be met with summary Jurisdiction as stipulated .

NNL offers clubs mandate on affiliation jurisdiction

"What we are playing is Association Football and in keeping to its tenets ,Clubs must obtain letter from their State Football Association that will introduce them and allow them to feature in any football activities of the Nigeria Football Federation ,the custodians of the game in the country''

''Without an affiliation to the State Football Associations,no Club is qualified to participate in any NFF organised competition, which includes the NNL".

Mr.Lawrence frowned at what he described as nonchalant attitude of the affected clubs after giving them a soft landing to enable them register for the season .

In our quest to meet up under the rush period we gave room for clubs to register after they pledged commitment to comply with the letter of affiliation but we are shocked that the clubs are now taking the NNL for granted and this we will not allow, Katken insists that the clubs must produce the affiliation letter which is an evidence of affiliation to their various State Football Associations.
