Father kills son in PH

A man who gave his name as Inimgba has allegedly killed his 7-year old son with a hard object yet unidentified by the Police. The deceased little boy who was identified as George Tamunoibuemie, was murdered by his father, a Police source told the public in Amadi-ama area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Sunday Vanguard also gathered that the incident took place in the late hours of the night yesterday. It was a shocking story that nobody, not even the neighbours could explain why he did so.

However, a close neighbour, who gave her name as (Stella) said the father abandoned the child, thus forcing him to cater for himself. The neighbour also highlighted how she bought pencil for the child to go to school on Thursday morning. 

"Just this week, I saw this little boy at a shop, people gathered around him. He stole a doughnut and everyone was blaming his father, saying he wasn’t giving him food and that was why the boy stole", she narrated to the Policemen. They said the father and the boy’s step mum maltreated him. I saw scar all over his body.

According to the people living in the area where the incident took place, it was gathered that the people he stole the doughnuts from even gave him the doughnuts and soft drink for free. 

Stella, the main focal point of the interview with the Policemen, told the forcemen that she took the little boy to her house and interviewed him. "He was an intelligent boy. He told me the same thing and even asked me to give him a pencil to school which I did. I also bought biscuits for him, took photograph of him before he left. I promised to see his father but couldn’t due to my tight schedule this (last week)". 

Mr. Inimgba is currently at the Amadi-ama Police Station now while the corpse of the little boy has been taken to the morgue.
