Protesters Hit the Streets of France Over Impeachment of Human Rights

France - Protests hit the streets of France.

In the wake of a tyrannic display of governance by President Emmanuel Macron, French citizens have taken to the streets of France to peacefully express their dissatisfaction.

The people's voices ring across the country now as they protest against the eroding of democracy. It is not (only) a dispute about pensions. France, and the world, must find the way to true democracy.

There are inflation on a climax and people are fed up with the president's arrogance and government.

Here is the story in details:

It all started in January 2023: The government wants to increase the retirement age by 2 years, from 62 to 64, unfortunately this is a reform that no French citizen wants including the parliament.

Everything accelerated last week, when the government decided to use the 49.3 (it's a procedure to automatically force the passage of a law, normally it was an emergency procedure but President Macron uses it all the time to pass all his unpopular reforms without going through democracy).

The forceful procedure was enacted while the members of the National Assembly were gathered to vote on the text of the laws. The President Macron unilaterally prevented the elected representatives of the French people from voting because he knew he would lose.

Ever since this saga started, French citizens are a victim of police brutality and unfortunately, it won't end anytime soon.

Currently, the government office quarters in Marseille is razed by fire.
