GERNOT ROHR RELEASES SQUAD LIST FOR SUPER EAGLES FRIENDLIES

The Super Eagles will play friendly matches with the resurgent power house in African Football in recent years, Senegal and Burkina Faso respectively in London as a preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. The technical adviser, Gernot Rohr has therefore released his squad list to that effect.

Goalkeepers Carl Ikeme, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and midfielders Ogenyi Onazi and Wilfred Ndidi makes the cut. To make it up for surprise was Striker Noah Joel Bazee of Hannover '96 from Bundesliga 2.

Holland –based defender Tyronne Ebuehi will join up with the squad for the first time, while youngster Victor Osimhen, record top scorer at the FIFA U17 World Cup, returns.

The Super Eagles will be up against Senegal’s Teranga Lions on Thursday, 23rd March before taking on the Etalons of Burkina Faso four days later. Both matches will be played at The Hive, home ground of Barnet Football Club.
