Months after signing the sponsorship deal worth billions of Naira with the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) for 5 years in collaboration with the country's biggest game, the prestigious gas firm, AITEO GROUP has launched another sponsorship deal to sponsor the Nigerian FA cup for the next five years.
Hence, the nomenclature of the FA Cup will take new form: 'the #AiteoCup'.
During the unveiling of the partnership, NFF President, Amaju Melvin Pinnick expressed his excitement on the new sponsorship deal in a press conference.
"We want to celebrate and thank Aiteo" for signing of Aiteo Cup agreement. "I promise you, we will not only qualify for AFCON but we will beat South Africa in SA" , he added.
Chairman of the League Management Company (LMC) Shehu Dikko who was present at the presser said: "Only we, Nigerians are able to develop Nigeria".
