It was Manchester City's Claudio Bravo that stole the headline as Chile beat Portugal 3-0 on penalties to book a place in the finals of the FIFA #ConfedCup.
Claudio Bravo topped up a clinical performance to put the icing on the cake to lead Chile to their third finals in 3years(2015, 2016, 2017). His heroics was capped with a tremendous performance in saving first 3/3 of Portugal's penalty which was taken by Ricardo Quaresma, Joao Moutinho and Nani.

Bravo's performance earned him a BUD MOTM award after the game.
A fiesty first half and Portugal couldn't muster a shot on target to disturb the defense of Chile, instead it was the Chileans who had most of the chances go their way in the first half of extra time. From the boots of Arturo Vidal who fired a ferocious shot that hit the upright bouncing back to fall nicely for Vargas who first played a cheeky chip to displace his marker and hit the drop down shot that Rui Patricio parried away towards the woodwork.
Chile keep asking the questions with their high pressing football leaving Portugal stranded in their own half. Cristiano Ronaldo could do nothing with him being the center of attraction, especially, the tireless worker, Arturo Vidal; who man-marked the FIFA Best Player 2016 out of his regular goal scoring duties.

A hundred and twenty minutes and nothing could separate the two sides as the game was being decided by a penalty shoot-out. Chile came out tops scoring their first three and Portugal missing all three with Bravo the hero, catching all in his claws making it needless for Ronaldo who many thought was waiting to take the last.
Antonio Pizzi's men book their place in Sunday's final in Petersburg, St Petersburg where they play either Mexico/ Germany who battle it for a place tomorrow.
