NPFL: LMC LIFTS FANS STADIUM BAN ON KANO PILLARS

Fans of former Champions, Kano Pillars Football Club will have the opportunity to watch their darling team this weekend as the League Management Company, (LMC) has given the club the nod to open its gate once again.


A notification letter was sent to the club through the Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar, that the gates should be opened for their fans when Pillars take-on Rangers International football club this Sunday at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

The decision taken by the LMC is billed for two matches and would enable the league organizers to ascertain the readiness of the fans to key into the drive for a free hooliganism match venues.

According to Kano Pillars FC spokesman, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, the directive was necessitated following the club's ability to meet the conditions and requirements in respect of the order of playing their home matches in closed door.

 The LMC also noticed that the club has presented security plans and evidence of organizing seminars for its supporters among others in order to avoid any violence and misconduct in all its matches.
The statement said organization by the club's management and conduct of the fans in the two matches shall be taking into consideration by the LMC for further action. Responding the chairman of the club Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida pledged to justify the confidence repose in them.
