NPFL: REMO STARS VS FC IFEANYI UBAH GAME CALLED OFF

Match day 29 of the Nigeria Professional Football League which involves Remo Stars and FC Ifeanyi Ubah has been postponed by the League Management Company following a recent disturbing occurrence to the players of the Remo Stars who were a victim of food poisoning.

The RemoStars announced on their official Facebook page to the public through its Public Relation Officer that 13 players including their captain and their goal keeper has suffered a huge upset of food poisoning after having their meals of Semovita and Egusi soup.

However, irrespective of the happenings, the FC Ifeanyi Ubah team honoured their game but was barred from entering into their stadium. In lieu to that, there was nobody present in the Stadium to honour the game which was earlier announced to have been postponed.

It seems the LMC has decided to fix the game in the next Tuesday 4pm but the FC Ifeanyi Ubah side is not happy with the date because of congest of fixtures on their path.
