The 2020/2021 draws of the UEFA Champions League took place today at 17:00 CET, part of the pre-event saw Chelsea and Cote D'Ivoire legend Didier Drogba presented with the UEFA President's Player Award. Also, it was the perfect occasion to announce the UEFA Positional awards and the just concluded season prestigious annual awards.
German and Bayern Munich goalie, Manuel Neuer was named Best Goal Keeper, Joshua Kimmich, Best Defender, Manchester City Midfielder Kevin De Bruyne took home the award for Best Midfielder while Robert Lewandowski was named UEFA Best Forward.

The highlights of the draws was Juventus facing off against Barcelona, this means that both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will for the first time lurk horns against each other in the UEFA competition group stages in group G. Other ties saw Manchester United pitted against former rivals PSG and Liverpool face a tough test at Atalanta, while Champions Bayern Munich will have to slug it out with Diego Simeone and his Atleti side.

The Breaking news from the UEFA organizing body is that henceforth starting from the UEFA Nations League 30% fans will be allowed into the stadium for all UEFA competitions, this is an agreement reached after a first phase testing period in the UEFA Super Cup in Budapest.
