The 2021 FIFA The Best Football award took place at the FIFA International Conference Center in Zurich, the only winner attendee of the event was Cristiano Ronaldo, who was on hand to receive his first time FIFA Special Awards. Asides the serenity of the award, there were plenty controversies, an obvious omission of worthy winners from the FIFPro Women’s and Men’s XI which were replaced by fringe names.
