The Bavarians entered the UEFA Competition as one favourite team, winning every single game played form the group stage, the highest scoring team; racking up 43 goals scored and conceding just 8 with 6 clean sheets to crown their wonderful performance. With Chelsea and Barcelona being the victims of the Germans free scoring outing.

Bayern got the eye of football fans after trashing FC Barcelona 8 - 2 in the quarter final round, and since then, they were blazing hot. Seeing off Lyon with a 3-goal scoreline to set up a final berth with PSG. You could say it wasn't all rosy and easy as we expected, cagey but exciting, Bayern still had PSG and showed a great stint of experience and champion quality. Bayern's UCL win level them up with Barcelona as the only two teams in Europe with a double treble.

Swooping the local trophies in Germany, the UCL was the missing item to complete a perfect season. Winning the first treble in 2013, it is only a matter of time before Barcelona's 2009 and 2015 historic campaign is matched.
