It's been a busy week in Barcelona since the shameless defeat in the hands of Bayern Munich. First, Coach Quique Setien was sacked, days after club Legend Eric Abidal had his contract cancelled as club Sporting Director.
This was followed by a quick announcement by President Josep Maria Bartomeu appointing Former Player, Ronald Koeman as new manager to take over the club for the next season, and since his arrival, Koeman had one agenda, to clear out the old legs; notably: Suarez, Rakitic,Vidal have been asked to leave the club.
It seems Lionel Messi will be joining the crew as he has asked to leave the club. According to Alfredo Martinez, a Barcelona based journalist, Messi has handed in a request to leave on a free. This condition included when the club signed him reads that he can rescind his contract and leave on a free at the end of every season.
However, the club hierarchy has called for an emergency board meeting. What next for Barcelona?
